Vikalp Aahar's Chawanprash from our wellness range 'amra' is made from Vasanti Desi Amlas! Amlas are plucked after Vasant Panchami, when they have fully ripened and developed a reddish hue. The Madhur(sweet) Rasa of the Amla develops at this time, which gives energy and rejuvenation properties reputed to be in Amla. Desi khaand instead of refined sugar is used to enhance the flavour. Traditional gatherers are used to collect specific herbs from virgin forests of Narmada River Valley. Their experience results in correct identification, collection and storage of herbs. Sustainability of forest and rejuvenation of vegetation is also ensured.
