4 Ingredients, 4 Minutes Kadha
Usually kadha takes a long time to prepare but, our busy lives do not give us so much time to watch it darken in colour while boiling and then savour it. A quick yet, efficient and effective kadha can be the ultimate immunity booster for most. This particular kadha is made using onions and lemon as major ingredients. My great grandmother had a special liking for kadha and she kept creating new recipes using those that seemed to be the most effective.
Grind 1 red onion and pour it into a cup.
Next top with boiling water.
When a little lukewarm add juice of 1 lemon to it. Do not strain the lemon juice.
Add 1 tsp honey.
The kadha is ready! It sounds awful because of the raw onion but it really does vanquish colds! This unique kadha is highly effective for bad cold and cough and is best had at night last thing before you sleep. Effective for fever and stomach flu too.
