Weeks course on Aquaponic and Farming

The Course Details and topics are : The first week is the Aquaponics Course by Peter Singh. Mondays to Fridays 7 to 7.40 p.m. on Zoom - Theory and science of aquaponics , showing working systems in our homes in Delhi and Goa: -on a balcony, -entrance to our home, -on rooftops - or open spaces in our homes. - along the walls of our home - Ornamental garden design with fish tanks - the concept of a sustainable home and sustainable farming with aquaponics, where you grow your own organic food - how to manage your food and garden waste to produce food without soil and using minimal water. - Concepts of agritecture to green your home and clean the air entering your home. - Design concepts of the different systems in aquaponics, of greenhouses, fish tanks etc. Fish that can be grown - the carp varieties, rohu, katla, mirgal and common carp, - Seabass ( chonak) -Fresh water prawns - Trout in cool climates. If you don't want to grow fish to eat, you can grow ornamental koi carp. Vegetables and fruits that can be grown are all, depending on the climate and space you are growing them in. The second week is Our Course on Organic Farming without chemicals and artificial fertilizers by Neeno Kaur on Zoom monday to friday 7 p.m. to 7.40 p.m. Course Details: - The science of organic farming using aquaponics and permaculture, - showing plants growing in our systems in the homes in Goa and Delhi. - Growing of plants from seed to harvest stage using open pollinated seeds. - Pest control naturally - Natural nutrients to feed the plants for optimum yields. - Composting and how to manage your food and garden waste to produce food. After the course there will be a Site visit to our Delhi or Goa projects, to enable you to see the workings and design of the systems. At the end of the 2 weeks course we add you to our projects group where you interact with us and the others who have done our courses while you set up your project. Vegetables and fruits that can be grown are all depending on the climate and area and investment you make. We provide you the list and addresses of suppliers of seeds and other inputs you may need for the project.
