Where you’ll be?

Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India

Waking up to the song of the blue whistling thrush to see green mountains curtained by the clouds. The dramatic backdrop of the pine forests and front-yard with a garden full of fresh vegetables surrounded by apple, plum and cherry trees waiting for their seasonal glory. Wildflowers happily married to roses and dahlias, hosting bees and beetles, welcoming small chirpy mountain birds. Our Jack- the dog, is friendly; might want your cuddles twice a day or a slice of bread works too! Bindu and Loudoo, our two happy cows might call you once in a while, spare some of your leftover green for them. A minute’s walk will take you to spring water that flows all time of the year; wild, wild water! Pull a chair, get your chai, Ruskin Bond has got tales for you!
This is what we got, to share with you. If you wanna be part of this rusticity, welcome home!

Getting around!

We appreciate cleanliness. A clean place is always a happy space!

Kindly your own towel and toiletries.

You can have your folks come over to visit you. However, staying over for your guests is prohibited.

The house is located amidst the wilderness, with village folks in the neighborhood. We expect you to respect the place and people and maintain silence, especially at night.

You will be living in one of the mountain villages with basic to comfortable facilities. There are power-cuts a few hours a week, the Wi-Fi might have fluctuations due to weather conditions. We hope you understand these challenges and co-operate.

We do waste segregation in our kitchen premises and request you to follow the same for everyone’s good!

There are no essential stores very close to the house but within walkable distance. We suggest you keep stock of your essentials when you visit the town downhill.

The heater is available in the room to keep you warm during your stay with us :)
Please make sure that you responsibly use electricity and water during your stay to avoid any wastage of resources.

If you have any concerns, we are just a corridor away:)

There are beautiful walk trails in and around the village, don’t forget to explore while you are here!
