Neeno Kaur is currently engaged in aquaponics along with her husband Peter Satwant Singh. She promotes and teaches urban farming and sustainable living so that people grow their own food wherever they live
Her other interests include reading, classical music, naturopathy, developing herbal products, cooking healthy food, gardening and yoga.
She is a qualified beekeeper , she set up the first beekeeping and honey processing unit as a joint venture in Punjab.
She launched single source honeys from different flower sources for the Indian maket
Her Company Honeybee/Naturalway was the first exporters of honey to the quality conscious markets of USA and Germany.
She developed and marketed a range of honey based Ayurvedic and herbal products as supplements, tonics, and skin and hair care products.
She received two Punjab State government awards- namely a Praman patra in 1988 for excellence in the development of Beekeeping in India and a Praman Patra in 1998 for increasing the production of Honey in Punjab.
APEDA commissioned her to write a study on “The Export Potential of Indian Honey” including a strategy for establishing India in the world honey market which they published in 1999 for their Resource library
She was National president of the FICCI womens wing FLO 1997-98
