Beej Sowing Seeds Of Joy

Lucknow Farmers Market has been propagating locally grown fruit into saplings, planting and growing to trees through our Beej initiative since 2016. Around 900-1000 trees propagated from seeds and planted annually for the last 8 years.

To encourage us all to reduce our carbon footprint, eat locally grown fruit and vegetables, save the seeds and plant them. Encouraging plantations in rural and urban areas where the community can safeguard them to produce fruit to support the natural ecosystem.

Thanks to the committed team who made it happen and will grow the seeds into saplings in village Saidanpur District Barabanki

This year we are collaborating with Shram NGO for plantation.
