As part of Sustainable September, Lucknow Farmers Market invites home bakers, professional chefs, culinary students and food enthusiasts to come together for a delicious celebration of sustainability.
The Sustainable September Baking Challenge 2026, themed “Bake for a Better Tomorrow,” encourages participants to rethink the way we bake — from choosing locally sourced and seasonal ingredients to reducing food waste and making conscious choices in preparation and presentation.
Participants can showcase their creativity through four exciting contest categories:
1. Farm to Oven
Create a bake using locally sourced ingredients purchased from farmers or local markets.
2. Zero Waste Baking
